Can You Imagine? Writing Your Last Love Letter?

by Dr. Christopher on May 7, 2011

The most powerful words I use to remind me of what’s important are on the door to my bedroom …

You’re going to die tomorrow.  What will you do today?

Are you grateful for today?  That you are alive?  I hope so.

If not, read this last post by Derek, who left a wife and two young daughters behind.  Thanks to Baker for making me aware of Derek’s story.

Talk about wrenching to the soul.

Who do you love?  Does he or she know it?  Perhaps it’s your mom?

I think many of us forget to tell the people that we love the most how we feel about them often enough. Part of the busy world we live in, I guess.

I’m certainly grateful to be alive. In fact, I have this philosophy that life gets better as you get older. I feel sorry for people who say that their school days were the best years of their life.

Down hill from there? Yikes!

For me, each decade has got better so I’ll be the little old lady in the corner of the rest home having a ball!

I have the same philosophy. Life does get better as you get older.

It seems to be that we struggle to figure out “who we are” in the beginning of our lives. Part of being introduced to this earth at birth I guess.

Hahaha. I laughed out loud picturing you dancing in the corner. Make sure you have someone take and send me a picture?
