Hurricane Irene. Then 9/11.
Another opportunity to …
Remember what your life is about.
Realize that we are all one. We can’t function without everyone else.
Hold the door open for a stranger.
Tell someone “I love you.”
Your brain evolved to meet an equal balance of forgetting and remembering. If you couldn’t forget, you could never move on from losing a mother/father/husband/wife in tragedy because they’d be on your mind 1440 minutes a day. But if you couldn’t remember, you’d never learn the lesson that was taught from pains of the past.
Let today be another opportunity to remember that it’s all about people.
Our challenge today is to recognize life and acknowledge it, through the focus of our eyes, the awareness of our minds, and a smile from our lips.
P.S. I love you.
